Are you Providing Customers with Solutions?

Think about their needs when it comes to SEO content strategy and public relations

Recently, I was interviewed on “Black Hollywood Live’s Phenomenal Women” program.  It was a lot of fun, and one of the key issues that came up is providing solutions to customers.

With this in mind, what are you doing to provide solutions to your customers on a daily basis?

Here are some tips to share important information with your customers that they can actually use!

1. Use social media.

Yes, I know it can be difficult to keep up with Twitter, Facebook, Google +, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc. But, it’s an important way to reach your target market in real time.

Find out what social-media venues your customers are using, and offer links to new research, statistics, interesting stories, and other information on a daily basis.

This way, they will be more likely to check your posts regularly and possibly share them with others.

2. Write great content!

I’ve written about this numerous times, but it’s important to think about your customers before writing ANY content.

What unique tips and information can you provide that your competitors can’t?

What do your customers really want to know about?

By thinking about your customers and “what keeps them up at night,” you’ll be able to provide answers to their questions.

3. Keep your contact-lines open.

How difficult is it for current and potential customers to get in touch with your team members to get information, ask questions and more?

Make it as easy as possible for people to get in touch with you via phone, social media, e-mail, fax, etc.

Respond promptly to requests, and be sure your team members know how to treat customers the right way – no matter what!

Simple Acts Lead to Success!

Now, these tips may seem too simple, but are you following them?

Your customers notice the little things, and although providing valuable content and giving access to your customers may seem trivial, it’s not.

These activities need to be in place and running smoothly at your business at ALL times. Otherwise, customers will go elsewhere.

So focus on offering excellent service, and give your customers what they want. You’ll see sales increase. But even more important, you’ll help people solve problems!
