Time for Thanks!

It’s almost Thanksgiving, and that means we are getting ready for the upcoming holidays.

Things will get hectic with year-end deadlines, sales and meetings… not to mention all of the activities you have planned with family and friends.

But while all of this is going on, don’t forget this little word that can mean a lot to your success in all that you do… THANKS.

– Send special notes to your customers, business associates, mail carriers, and more.

And by special, I’m not talking about e-mails. Take the time to pick out a card, handwrite a note and send it via snail mail. The recipient will appreciate your thoughtfulness.

– Do something different.

Out of the blue, surprise your team members with bagels, a special lunch or other treat.

By giving them something out of the ordinary, you’ll provide a nice break and let them know you appreciate their hard work.

– Try to maintain a thankful mindset all season.

When things get stressful, think of all the things you are thankful for. Soon, your everyday problems won’t seem so bad.

Just say “thanks!”

It may seem simple, but this little word can change a lot. Not only does it let others know you appreciate them, but it can turn a bad day around. Give it a try today.
